Abstract:	本研究之主要目的在探討兒童氣質與兒童社會能力之關係。研究對象係以台北市公私立幼稚園1264位大班小朋友為主。研究結果發現:(一)不同程度的兒童氣質在教師評量之兒童社會能力上皆有顯著差異存在。(二)受爭論的兒童比受歡迎的兒童注意力分散度大、活動量大、堅持度低、適應性低及趨避性低。但比被忽視的兒童活動量大，適應性好，趨避度低，堅持度也低。根據研究結果，建議如下:(一)兒童氣質在孩子同儕的人際關係中扮演著重要的角色。(二)兒童氣質對孩子社會能力發展深具重要性。
