Abstract The study will base on finding of misconceptions of mechanics in the 5th and 6th grades of science courses. The researcher has selected 20 elementary school students including 13 male students and 7 female students to interview with them. After interviewing, the researcher has analyzed their misconception styles. There are some suggestions based on results of the researcher. (1) In mechanics unit, the authority should design some courses including in the 6th grade sience textbook. (2) Mechanics unit should not only be designed in the 5th grade but also in the 6th grade science grade textbook. (3) The authority will provide more opportunity for students to address kids' view points in order to show their misconceptions. (4) The conceptions of lever should be provided in activities of force and torque. (i.e. torque equals to the mutiplication of force and distance.) (5) The principle of mechanics is the one of saving time but wasting force or saving force but wasting time. The principle will be designed in science activities of science. (6) The activities should be designed into integration of traffic situations and mechanics of science courses. Above suggestions are resulted from the researcher's outcomes. The purposes of these suggestions will integrate research results and teaching activities.
