Three purpose of htis study were (1) to understand the relationship among organizational structure, organizational commitment and school effectiveness. (2) to compare and analysis the difference on organizational structure, organizational commitment and effectiveness among teachers demogrophic viariables and schools' environmental variables. (3) to search the effective variables to predict the school effectiveness.
This study employed the survey method, utilizing the Elementary SchoolOrganizional Structure and School Status Questionnaire developed by writer. The Questionnaire include three parts (1) Elementary School Organizational Structure Scale, (2)Elementary School Organizational Commitment Scale, and (3) Elementary School Effectiveness Scale. The subjects sincluded 1,415 teachers randomly selected from 190public elementary schools in Taiwan area. The percentage of returned questionnairewas 81.70 .
The conclusions drown from the results of statistical analysis of resultant data,and recommendations were made, based on the reseach findings for
education administration, school administration, principal, teachers and future stuty.
