The main purpose of this study is to construct the professional ethics
of educational administrators. Literature pertaining to the field of
professional ethics and morality of educational administrators is reviewed and
synthesized in order to determine the factors which influence educational
administrators' ethics. The professional ethics constructed in this study
contain the following six aspects: the purposes served by the professional
ethics, the nature of the professional ethics, the professional community to
originate the professional ethics, the content of the professional ethics, the
status of the professional ethics, the influence of the professional ethics on
professional practice, the influence of the professional ethics on professional
identity, and the revise of the professional ethics. Finally, this study
presents five recommendations about professional ethics for educational
administrators.
