Abstract:	教育的永續發展，計畫、執行和評鑑，三者缺一不可。近十年來我國大力推動各項教育改革，為瞭解教育改革成效，確保教育品質，教育評鑑益顯重要。本文旨在探討教育評鑑的基本概念與近期發展。全文分為五個部分，首先，就教育評鑑的重要概念進行分析；其次，說明教育評鑑的學科性質、理論建構等評鑑理論的發展；再者，從教育評鑑的歷史回顧，闡述教育評鑑的起源，以及美國和我國教育評鑑的發展歷史；再次，析論我國教育評鑑所面臨的挑戰，包括本土化有待努力、專業化有待提升、後設評鑑有待提倡、評鑑倫理有待倡導及各項評鑑有待整合等；最後，提出八項因應挑戰的有效實施策略，以作為強化我國教育評鑑的建議。
