Abstract:	對聶崇義《新定三禮圖》的認識，自宋以來，即在考古學的後置視角下多有偏見和誤解，其與禮學相關的若干特點也相應被忽略。事實上，傳統經學與禮學意義上的器物研究與考古學性質有別，《新定三禮圖》建立在聶崇義的學術觀念和方法之上，過去被斥為「臆說」、「漏略」的地方，乃是其禮學特性的展現。伴隨金石學的興起，宋人對禮器的認知模式發生轉變，聶氏《三禮圖》遂遭鄙棄，但它系統使用禮圖表現禮說的方法與實踐，對禮圖的發展而言，意義不容忽視。
