Abstract:	科學創意競賽近年來廣受國內教育單位重視與推動，但是對於如何舉辦兒童科學創意競賽以及兒童的創造性問題解決歷程這方面的研究並不多。本研究採取參與觀察研究，嘗試理解參與中部地區科學創意競賽校際科學創意競賽的學童小組，從開始的構想到最後創作出作品的過程。欲瞭解及描述(一)參賽學童小組如何產生作品，(二)創作作品的過程中，遇到什麼問題？如何解決問題，以理解教師該如何介入指導。研究發現：學童解決開放性問題科學創意競賽會受到所擁有的科學知識、處理問題的技術以及對競賽任務的監控而影響，而且此發展需要老師適當的介入。
