    Title: 職前教師所具有的月亮錯誤概念診斷
    Misconceptions about the Moon Held by Preservice Teachers in Taiwan

      自然科學錯誤概念的研究,近十年來在國內已篷勃發展,尤以物理、化學方面的概念發展為主;有關地球科學的概念發展不多。職前教師有一學期的地球科學課,而小學自然亦有三個單元是有關月亮的概念學習。文獻指出,小學生具有許多有關月亮的錯誤概念,而其來源之一可能為教師本身具有錯誤概念,因而本研究之目的,乃在發展一診斷工具,用以診斷職前教師所具有的月亮錯誤概念,包括性別、宗教背景、學科背景等變項,以印證文獻中所提之問題。結果並可做為職前教師修習地球科學或教授該科教材安排、教學策略運用之參考。
      研究者經三次預測、修訂、最後定稿之工具為具有25題,每題四選項之選擇題。題目內容包括了月相形成原因、月相變化規則、月出時間、月出位置、鳥瞰月相、月球自轉及公轉、月球引力等項目。工具內容效度及表面效度由四位專家審訂、結構效度由訪談方式進行;內部一致性信度為0.65(KR-20),項目難度介於0.28-0.72之間。鑑別度介於0.05-054之間。研究對象為花蓮師院、國立台北師院及本院學生共174位;其中男生86位、女生88位;家庭背景具有中國傳統佛(道)教信仰者145位、無此背景則有29位;受測學生為自然背景者有26位、非自然背景者為148位。資料分析所有選項之出現頻率百分比,並以t檢驗性別、宗教、背景之變項的顯著差異。
      結果顯示職前教師的錯誤概念極多(M=11.1,亦即答對率為44%),如月相的成因是由於月球表面反光面積不同所造成的;學生無法以月相預測農曆日期;或由日期預測月相;學生亦無法正確預測每日月出時間及位置;月相和月蝕的原因相同;學生認為月亮的自轉和地球的自轉方式一樣;地球上同一經度之南北半球在同一時間的漲退潮是相反等錯誤概念。男、女生之間則無顯著性別差異;宗教背景不同之學生則因題目而有不同結果;學科背景不同者,對於月亮的錯誤概念之分佈情況則類同。
      本研究結果證實文獻所假設之問題:職前教師具有月亮的錯誤概念。教師具有對月亮的錯誤概念,或是由於學習天象的認知階段仍停留於具體操作期,或不當的先前學習,或兒童時期所具有的迷思概念持續至成人。本研究建議地球科學或天文的課程應加強此方面的學習,並以具體操作方式使職前教師能適當地獲得未來教小學自然所必備的概念,職前教師亦應重視此課程之修習。

    Abstract
      Misconceptions have been extensively investigated. The purpose of this study was to develope a multiple-choice group test and to diagnose misconceptions about the moon held by preservice teachers in Taiwan.
      The developed test consisted of 25 items which cover the conceptions about the moon that are required for future teaching. A sample of 174 preservice teachers from three teachers colleges were assessed. The results showed that the preservice teachers held various misconceptions related the moon. There was no singificant difference between female and male students in possession of the misconceptions about the moon. The students with folk religion held the same notions as those without folk religion, and science major and non-science major students had even deversity on different aspects of misconceptions.
      The possible sources and suggestions conclude this study.
