    Abstract: 警察人員職司維護社會秩序及人民基本生命安全之責,是性質非常特殊的公務人
    員,然其考選方式目前仍偏重筆試,應試科目又以學科設計為導向,與一般公務人員差
    別不大,因而人員之適任性時遭批評。而環觀其他先進國家警察人員之進用方式,其特
    色在評量目標清楚、具體,能明確定界定職能需求;評量工具多元化,有口試、心理測
    驗、體適能測驗、體格檢查、能力測驗( 非學科測驗)、身家調查等。相對我國來說,
    是以較多面向觀察及評量應試者的知能,評量結果效度自然也較為可靠。為提升我國警
    察人員之適任性,未來警察人員之考選,除現行之學科筆試及基本體適能要求外,應考
    量增採其他評量方式之可能。
