本文主要透過文獻與卜辭資料來研究殷人對祖先之祭祀，並從以下四項來討論殷
人在祭祀祖先方面所呈現之特色：一、立廟祭祀祖先。二、受祭對象多，而且祖妣皆受祭。
三、祭禮種類繁複。四、祭祀時大量用牲。國之大事，唯祀與戎，且『禮記•祭統』載：凡
治人之道，莫急於禮。禮有五經，莫重於祭。夫祭者，非物自外至者也，自中出生於心也。
心怵而奉之以禮，是故惟賢者能盡祭之義。由此可見「祭祀」對古人之重要，尤其是在宗法
制度之下，宗族裡的成員因著「同祖」的觀念，而將「親親」、「尊尊」的思想具體化為對
祖先的祭祀。殷人「尚鬼」，因此對於祖先之祭祀不餘遺力，所以在祭祀祖先方面，呈現出
許多的特色， 例如「為祖先立廟」「祭祀對象多，且祖妣皆受祭祀」.... 等特點，現分述
於下。
英文摘要
This paper is intended to study the rites to worship their ancestors of
the Shang Dynasty through documents and the oracle-bone writings. And then
disscuss the characteristics of the rites in worship of ancestors as followings:
1.Building ancestor temples. 2. Worshipping all ancestors. 3. Exhibiting the
diversity of rites. 4. Offering life animals for sacrifice. |
