Abstract:	本研究在臺東縣金峰鄉新興村的三塊相同時期小米田，以及臺東縣海端鄉崁頂村的一塊小米田，自2019年的兩次試作以及2020年自一月開始自八月的每月一次監測生物多樣性調查，以陸域小型哺乳動物、節肢動物、爬蟲類、兩生類、土壤環節動物以及軟體動物物種為主，結果共紀錄 199 科 385 種 5275 隻次棲息於小米田棲地的小型脊椎與無脊椎動物，顯示小米田共生棲息的小型動物多樣性與生物量豐度極為龐大，也表現出原住民在里山的傳統農業區與傳統農法，對農業生態與生物多樣性的貢獻，值得深入探索研究，並應進行長期監測調查。
