Abstract:	南海諸島為我國固有領土，神聖不可侵犯。為了強化青年學子對南海疆域的認識與瞭解，中華民國國防部自民國100年（2011年）開始辦理相關研習活動，希望學子藉由登太平島，來宣示中華民國南海的主權，也見證我三軍弟兄在南海的偵巡和護漁的辛勞。南海的自然資源、航運交通和國防民生，影響我國南海地緣戰略。因此本研究以田野調查和文獻探討，來瞭解南沙太平島歷史發展和地景變遷，並探討其地緣戰略之價值。
