Abstract:	自十年前自然科學博物館立成立以來，接著科學工藝、海洋生物、海洋科技博物館等大型博物館也即將設立，民間科學性展示館也如雨後春筍般陸續成立。如今科學博物館的發展趨勢已被社會大眾視為文化建設的指標，其著重在多能的社會教已是被社會大資接受的事實。然而有別於剛式學校教育方式的展示教育和社會大眾科學教育等功能，正急待有系統的整體規劃與研究。本文中以「彗星撞木星」天文特殊事件展為例，初探科學博物館內展示教育和科學教育連成一體的教育定位，用「展示品會說話」、「展示品要說對話」及「把展示品(精髓)帶回家」的理念，構思出展示教育、專業知識和科學教育在博物館內整體分工的角色，以及和觀眾群間的互相關連。
