Abstract:	杜威對近代教育之影響，其廣泛性與深遠性，可說是空前的。對我國教育之影響也是非常大，所以我國研究杜威之教育思想者很多，然因杜威之著作太多，其思想亦可分為早期、中期與晚期之不同，所以無法做全面性之介紹，因此有些人常對其有所誤解或誤用，而導致對教育產生錯誤導向。本人不揣固陋，將管見所及，撰此文以聊野人獻曝之心意。本文從杜威之生平背景，他對達爾文思想之重視與闡釋；從探詢法與問題解決法來闡述自然化的知識論之看法、自然與自然科學之看法；對於有些人認為科學至上至尊而輕視其他學科之科學主義之糾正；反省思考法與解決問題教學法等看法做一簡單之敘述。藉此能使讀者從此出發思考體會，進而了解杜威對科學教育之廣泛而且深遠之啟示。本文因在匆忙中完成，疏漏不當之處必多，尚祈方家學者不吝指正。
