Abstract:	植物體存有一些二次代謝物，一旦釋放到環境中，會抑制周圍植物的生長，以維持本身生存的條件與優勢。相思樹與竹子等許多植物中已分離出植物毒素，這些毒素受到研究工作者的重視，期望未來能應用這些毒素於永續農業上，以促進農作物產量與保護環境不再受農藥的污染。
