Abstract:	本研究闡述以「落日華表」的天文設施實際發展太陽觀測之非制式教學資源的歷程，其目的在探供中小學教師開發輔助教材及設計課程之參考；分析休閒產業設置簡易戶外教學資源之可行性；並鼓勵教師從事戶外探究之科學教學活動，藉以促進九年一貫教育改革政策中強調生活中學習自然科學之成效。以質性資料分析之行動研究為主要方法，研究期程共一年六個月，研究對象為參觀關山「落日華表」天文教學資源之民眾，約一萬人，年齡層自幼兒到老年，職業涵蓋各行業。重要發現有：1.「落日華表」的教學資源可以引起民眾的興趣與好奇心，並能提供教師開發輔助教材及課程設計之參考；2.民眾對於如此的知性之旅表示高度肯定的價值，且休閒觀念與知識經濟等政策，已在民間逐漸受重視；3.設置簡易天文觀測教學資源，可提供休閒產業發展經營特色的方向。建議學校及休閒產業參考本研究之非制式科學教學資源的發展模式，設置簡易戶外教學資源。
