Abstract:	本研究旨在發展統計量數的臆測教學活動，並從實踐中探究學生尋找量數規則及意義化的過程，希望藉由臆測的探索過程了解統計量數所代表的意義。教學設計是以三種神祕光譜儀代表三種統計量數（中位數、眾數及全距），給學生臆測光譜儀的功能並對光譜儀進行命名，藉以了解三種量數的規則與意義。研究發現此種不同於往日的臆測教學活動，學生能從猜測、檢驗、與修正的過程中找出光譜儀的功能（即量數的規則），且能用直觀的語言來嘗試命名，更從命名活動中了解三種量數的數學意義。
