Project-based learning is one of the learning approaches of constructivism. It is interdisciplinary, learner-centered, emphasizes knowledge and skills integration, and assesses student competence. The traditional expository teaching method has been unable fulfilled 21th Century Skills such as collaboration, communication and critical thinking. Project-based learning activities are active and engaged learners’ thinking that students acquire and apply new knowledge in a problem-solving context. This study combines Project-based learning with a web-based platform –Learning Station website to set up Web project-based learning (WPBL) training workshops. Teachers design teaching curriculum and lesson plans by using PBL module as curriculum organizer and instructional method according to the procedures on the Learning Station website.
As a result, WPBL training problem collects teachers’ output of teaching resources and uploads to Learning Station website built by the Ministry of Education in Taiwan to enrich the content of the website. Information technology changes daily, teachers should carry the mission to educate the next generation: always learn something new, familiarize with up to date information to create pedagogic approach and develop the teaching methods to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of teaching and learning.
